    Clothing

Bring clean, pressed clothes (we have a steamer and iron if needed). Avoid busy patterns, logos, or anything that distracts from your face. Solids or subtle textures work best.

    • Actors: Bring 2 looks (3-4 outfits) or 3 looks (5-6 outfits). Choose flattering colors, fits, and necklines that match the roles you’re auditioning for (check with your agent).

      Examples:

      • Commercial (girl/boy next door): soft/bright colors, jean shirts, sweaters.

      • Trendy (CW style): sexy, flattering necklines.

      • Business: suits, ties, blouses (high-end fabrics).

      • Sci-fi: darker colors, leather jackets, t-shirts.

      • Other looks: outdoorsy, sporty, doctor, professor, etc. Include shirts, jackets, pants, shoes, undergarments, and matching accessories. Extra outfits give you flexibility.

    • Business Professionals: Bring 2-4 outfits for a 1-look shoot. Choose smart, well-fitted clothes you’d wear at work, like suits, shirts, ties, sweaters, skirts, or dresses. For larger shoots, bring multiple formal options to reflect your professional style. Include matching undergarments, shoes, belts, and subtle accessories (e.g., simple jewelry). Opt for mid-tone or jewel-tone colors (tan, navy, charcoal) over pastels or neons, and consider layers like blazers for a polished look.

    Grooming

We work with our in-house hair and makeup artist, (Trish who collaborates with Kevin for his lighting setups.

    • Actors:

      • Men: Arrive with a clean face and usual hairstyle (we can adjust). Makeup is minimal for a natural look to show your true appearance for casting. Bring shaving gear for clean-shaven options.

      • Women: Come with a clean face (or light makeup) and styled hair. Shape eyebrows and get eyelash extensions done beforehand. Bring false eyelashes if needed. Avoid heavy makeup that alters your look.

    • Business Professionals: Men and women get touch-ups to look camera-ready. For the Basic Package, arrive with hair and makeup done as you would for work; our stylist will finalize the look. If you arrive without hair/makeup done, a full hair and makeup upgrade costs $150 + tax. Women, shape eyebrows and get eyelash extensions done beforehand if needed (bring false eyelashes). Men, arrive with a clean face and usual hairstyle.

    • General Tips: Get a haircut 1-2 weeks before, not the day of, to let it settle. Avoid waxing or threading the day before to prevent redness. Drink water and sleep well the week prior to look rested. Bring a compact mirror and oil blot pads to reduce shine. If you wear glasses, consider non-reflective lenses to avoid glare.

    Posing & Expression

    • Actors: Practice a range of expressions (e.g., warm smile, serious, quirky) in front of a mirror to show your versatility. Your eyes should be in focus, conveying strong inner thoughts to stand out to casting directors. Look directly into the camera unless directed otherwise.

    • Business Professionals: Aim for approachable, confident expressions. A slight smile works well for LinkedIn or email signatures, while a neutral look suits corporate websites. Stand or sit with shoulders angled slightly for a natural pose.

    • Chat with your photographer about your goals (e.g., corporate vs. creative vibe) to tailor the session. Relax and have fun—confidence shows in the final shots.

We accept e-transfers, debit, cash, or credit cards.
